Senior Infants 2024

Senior infants had lots of fun decorating their pancakes! Their smiles and chocolate covered faces says it all!

Senior Infants have ready enjoyed their gymnastics session every week! They have learned so much from jumping, landing, using the springboard, the horse and the balance beam.

Senior infants had lots of fun doing Milltown’s Toyshow. The children spoke all about their favourite toys.

Mrs Shannon’s class have had lots of fun investigating and experimenting this week. As always the jumping krispies were a big hit. Blanaid Mc Cann kindly came into school and made some elephants toothpaste for Eddie the elephants sleepover. The children investigated the amount of air it would take to make cars move but using balloons and straws. Each child showed great enthusiasm this week and you never know there could be a mad scientist from this class in the future.

Mrs Shannon’s class had lots of fun making their own super aliens during Space Week.

We’d like to congratulate Harper, Aoife and Rowyn on winning our mask competition.

Ms. Shannon’s classroom was a very scary place on Friday 28th October!!

Mrs Shannon’s class and Ms. Dolan’s class took part in daily maths stations and maths trails. Each table took on a different challenge each day. Pattern making, counting, maths games and iPads were all part of the excitement. The children and the teachers all enjoyed the week of maths activities.
